today pegi antwerp, belgium (the diamond city). naik train from delft to rotterdam central and then from there naik another train to antwerp. the journey took about 1 and a half hours. sampai je kat antwerp central station, jalan2 kat area sana. ada zoo, next to the antwerp central station. most of the shops are closed, maklumla sunday. and then naik the sight-seeing bus. so most of the pictures taken adalah from on top of that bus, so gambar takde la cantik sangat ya.

today pegi ke rotterdam - it is a shopping heaven. banyak gila tempat utk shopping. so apa lagi?! shopping la! kekekkekekekeke.. and then jalan2 pegi market, cubic house, oude haven, blaak area.

flight pukul 9.35am. naik easyjet, a cheap airplane and free seating, macam airasia. the cost for return flight tickets = 197.01 euro and stansted express train ticket single = 15 euro. the flight took about 40 minutes. then naik stansted express to go to liverpool street station. the train trip took about 45 minutes. sampai je kat liverpool street station, jumpa wei feng, my ex-colleague from aknmtech. from there naik tube. first stop london bridge station. jalan2 kat area london bridge, lalu atas river thames and then pegi bank of england building and around the area, hms belfast (museum ship), tower bridge and tower of london. next cannon street, st paul cathedral, london eye, big ben, house of parliament, westminster abbey and westminster cathedral. then st james park and buckingham palace. then piccadilly circus, covent garden. had dinner and watched some show tepi jalan. and then naik train to colindale to call it a day and pegi rumah wei feng.

today pegi ke trafalgar square. ada strike plak. then pegi national gallery, regent street and oxford street. shopping time! hehehhehehhe.. then singgah sat kat apple store to look at their latest notebook - nipis gila! then tgk iphone, 8gb price 169 pound. then pegi green park, hard rock, hyde park, knightsbridge - more shoppingggg! then wei feng's boyfriend drive us to london stansted airport. my flight is at 7.20pm. sampai amsterdam 9.30pm. sampai my apartment 10.40pm. wow! akhirnya dapat gak jejakkan kaki ke london. although it was a short trip, tapi it was wonderful and fun. surely, one experience i won't forget.

today pegi keukenhof aka the tulips and spring flowers garden. kawasan keukenhof tu tersangat la luas. imagine, i was in there from 12.30pm to 5pm. kalau anybody going to the netherlands in spring, really suggested you guys to go there. memang cantik. some info on keukenhof: in 2008, keukenhof hanya open from 20 March to 18 May (including Sundays and public holidays) Keukenhof is open from 8.00 a.m. to 19.30 p.m. daily. the bulbs bloom in spring. Keukenhof is therefore only open during this period. The other months are intended for maintenance activities at the park, and obviously for planting the bulbs. Of all tourism gardens in The Netherlands, Keukenhof scores the highest visitor amount by far, with 700,000 visitors. About ninety flower bulb suppliers ensure that you will see the most beautiful flower bulbs at Keukenhof every year. In 2008 the exhibition will enter its 59th season.

ari ni pegi madurodam. ok la. not so fun. i guess its not my thing, sbb mcm ala2 lawat muzium plak. boooorrrrriiiinnggggg . tapi takpe la gak, experience. madurodam is a miniature city, so it has the whole holland at 1 place. ada airport, canals, stadiums, boats, gardens, windmills, bridges, buildings and etc. yang specialnya, ada some things can move - macam airplane kat airport, boats, people, trains. then pergi rotterdam plak, just jalan2 around the town centre je, takde la pegi the tourists area sangat, because it is already late. and my colleague advised me that at some neighbourhood in rotterdam, it is not safe after dark.

memula plan nak pegi den haag, madurodam and then scheveningen today. tapi robin plak call, katanya, can we have the dinner today instead of tomorrow, because his wife is working tomorrow. he will come and pick me up at 6pm. so i have to change my plans. nampaknya ari ni pegi den haag and scheveningen aje, sbb have to be back at the apartment before 6pm.

naik train pegi den haag central. return ticket costs euro 3.60 and also bought the strippenkaart 15-strips that costs euro 6.90 for trams and busses. sampai kat station den haag central, jalan2 area sana, tgk the buildings. and then naik tram line 9 to go to kurhaus in scheveningen (it is 3-strips of the strippenkaart)

sampai kurhaus, tgk2 buildings kat sana. and then headed to the beach. wow! bestnya. alhamdulillah the weather today is very good. tak hujan. although a bit sunny, tapi it is still cold. imagine, me, a malaysian where usually the beaches in malaysia are very hot. sampai sini, pergh! terkezut gak. along the beach, semuanya ada kedai makan, so that people can just hang out in the restaurants while looking at the beach. good concept! tak tau la whether is it applicable in malaysia tak?

jalan kat beach, pasir dia lembut and brownish. the water is also brownish, so takde la secantik pantai kat malaysia. and then pegi pier. kat dlm pier tu pun ada shops. and then jalan2 kat all the shops along the beach. it was windy and cool. then had lunch at a pancake house. i just love the pancakes in holland. besar 1 pinggan and ada macam2 perisa

after that, jalan2 kat area kurhaus plak. then take the tram back to den haag central. then take the train back to delft. reach my apartment around 5pm. jalan2 jap kat delft town looking for a buah tangan. i can't go to someone's house empty handed kan? rupanya ada market kat delft town. i tot the market is only on sundays. tak sangka it is open on saturday jugak. bought some fruits. then back to the apartment.

around 6.20pm robin arrived to pick me up. mamat ni drive bmw rupanya. tapi it was an old bmw la. he drove to nootdorp. my god! the houses here are sooooo beautiful! ada villa, bungalow, semi-d. then sampai rumah dia. rumah dia.. pergh! cantik gila! it was a bungalow, with a modern interior and has lots of rooms. pandai diorg deco rumah. tak sarat, open kitchen, big yard. tapi tak sempat la nak tangkap gambar. segan . his wife, jessie is very pretty and their daughter julieny (11 years old) looks exactly like jessie. we ate dinner. all italian - potatoes, pasta, tomatoes with mozarella cheese, fish (salmon, seabass and another donno-what-its-called-fish). the dinner was very very very delicious. lepak with them until 9pm and they send me back to the apartment. what a day!

today is my first day at work. still selsema. i guess my body is adapting to the cold weather. last year pun selsema gak 1st week kat holland. when walking to the office, terkenang plak my last visit with the gang - wenda, su, swee and wai. suddenly i miss them, because now i am here all alone. jalan pun sorang2. sampai kat office building, take my entrance badge from the receptionist. from building 6, i took the lift to 3rd floor then walk towards building 8. called robin, dia pegi smoke plak. luckily terserempak dgn sunil. he showed me my place. then robin sampai. he showed me around the office. and then setup pc. terus dapat keje! kekekkeke.. tak sempat nak melepak! takpe la. mmg main reason datang holland pun sbb keje. lunch, robin and sunil invited me to join them. kat building 6 ada canteen on the 1st floor. and the canteen here tak pakai cash. samada guna chipknip (a prepaid card costs euro 20 that can be used to buy train tickets, parking etc. mcm ala2 malaysian touch n go la, tapi chipknip is not reloadable) or guna bank debit card.

lunch kat delft office pun only 30 minutes je, so can go back at 5.30pm. lagi satu, after consuming your meal, you are expected to take the tray and plates, clear the rubbish, and place them in a designated counter.

another thing beza keje kat office malaysia ngan office delft, kat delft ni mcm lepak je, not as stressful as working in malaysia office. keje, keje jugak. dateline, dateline jugak. tapi entahla nape kat malaysia rasa stressful and kat delft tak rasa stress. maybe sbb culture kot. balik dr office, jalan2 sekitar delft and tangkap gambar2 kat delft.

lupa nak story. lunch kat sini, bukan mcm lunch kat msia. makan nasi, noodle, etc. kat sini, ada roti etc so that you can make your own sandwich. their dinner baru la like our normal food. mungkin sbb weather kot, kalau panas, we tend to be hungry quickly. kalau sejuk, tak rasa lapar pun. agaknya la. tapi for me, kalau dah lapar, lapar gak. mcm lunch makan 2 keping roti with sapuan choc atau telur atau peanut butter. then minum yogurt or juice. kalau ada vegetarian soup, baru amik soup. lunch macam tu, by the time petang aroung 4-5pm dah lapar balik. sbb dah biasa ngan heavy food kat malaysia kot.. kekekkekekek..

sampai schiphol airport in amsterdam around 6.35am. sah selsema! hmm.. then tunggu luggage. sedih sbb 1 of my luggage's handle broke. luckily ada another handle. then bought local prepaid sim card lebara costs euro 9.95 and prepaid reload euro 20. then naik train to delft costs euro 8.60

their train tak sama mcm putra lrt atau komuter, where the train's floor is the same level as the platform. the trains in holland plak, their floor is higher than the platform. so terpaksa la angkat beg yg berat tu naik train. then sampai leiden central station, angkat lagi beg berat tu turun train utk tukar train. then another train sampai, angkat lagi beg berat tu naik train. sampai delft station, angkat lagi beg berat tu turun train. pergh! kalau muscle tak naik, tak tau la. another thing about the train station in holland is, some train stations takde lift. and guess what! delft train station tak ada lift. and terpaksa la angkat beg luggage tu turun tangga. pergh! dugaan betul. nasib baik turun tangga.

and the weather is quite freezing. it is 2 degrees celcius. my god! sejuk gila. dahla my winter jacket is in my luggage. luckily ada glove dlm my hand carry bag. pakai glove pun i can still feel my fingers are numb. imagine that!

then called robin and then waited for him to pick me up to go to the apartment. bila dia dah sampai, jalan from the train station to the apartment which is at Hovenierstraat (it is the name of a street). tak sangka dekat rupanya apartment tu ngan train station.

sampai apartment tu, robin ajak ikut dia pegi den haag sbb dia and his daughter nak pegi beli barang. tak nak la. tak nak kacau his weekend with his family, plus i am tired and have to unpack my bag.

tour kejap dalam rumah tu. it was fully furnished. ada tv, living, dining, kitchen, cooking utensils, oil, kicap, fridge, microwave, washing machine, towels, bedroom - complete! it was quite a small apartment. tingkat atas and tingkat bawah. tingkat bawah: dekat main door, is the dining area, then masuk into the living area, then the kitchen and then the shower, toilet and washing machine. upstairs plak, the main bedroom and the kid's bedroom. simple house!

unpack my stuff, lepak sat. and then around 2pm keluar kejap pergi C1000 (they pronounce it as szey thousand) to buy some groceries and to explore the area - jalan nak ke office and delft town. luckily i can still remember the area from my last visit.

i was requested to work in Delft, The Netherlands for about 3 weeks plus. this time is not for training, tapi for work. under the guidance of senior developers in Delft because they too are involved in the same projects as me.

bertolak ke klia around 8.30pm. mak, nizuan and humaidi hantar. sampai je terus check-in kat kaunter2 EF. then had something light to eat and drink. lepak kejap. humaidi bukan main suka lagi, lari sana, lari sini. maklum la tempat luas. then about 10.40pm masuk kat departure area. memula humaidi mcm takde apa2. so dok lambai2 babai. then bila mama dah turun bawah tu, baru la dgr humaidi nangis. sedihnya dgr

then naik tren utk ke terminal. disebabkan it is still too early (plane departs at 11.55pm), so lepak la kat terminal tu. ramai gak yg tgh menunggu. banyak mat saleh je. then, naik plane. duduk kat window seat with an old couple. diorg from brussels, belgium. pegi holiday kat vietnam and cambodia with a group. tapi tak gi malaysia pun, just transit je kat klia.

sepanjang flight tu, sempat la tgk 3 movies - enchanted, the golden compass & alvin and the chipmunks. kali ni naik MAS, yang bestnya, flight attendant are malaysians and each ada sendiri punya entertainment panel, so suka hati nak tgk cite apa and tv depan mata je. compared to my last visit, naik KLM, tv kat atas and we dont have any control nak tgk cite apa. cuma radio je sendiri2. and the food in MAS, although it is not that delicious, but it is better than the food served in KLM.

dalam plane, mcm ada tanda2 nak selsema la. alamak!

Pegi Toys R Us untuk belikan humaidi basikal. memula humaidi tgk kereta. waaaa.. takkan nak belikan kereta. kekkekeke. then dia nampak basikal. humaidi tak pandai kayuh lagi. so tolak je la dia atas basikal tu. then dia nampak motor. bila tekan pedal, motor tu gerak. dia suka plak. so belikan motor tu untuk dia. tapi dia hanya main motor tu for a few days je. sbb bila nampak basikal budak lain, dia nak naik yang itu. toys pun sama gak, toys budak lain yang dia nak, padahal dia pun ada toy tu. budak2 memang mcm tu ke ah?
